awwww yay Katie! She is doing so so good! Emily has taken her first steps but she's still real scared to let go. she will only do about 3-4 steps at a time. I know our girls will be running around in no time!
What a wonderful family moment! How special to include Ryan...and how adorable is it that he mimics your phrases so that he gives Katie support along with you. She is such a beautiful little princess and I am so proud of her big accomplishment. Amy, you took your first steps just a week or so before your first birthday too. Mamu and I were crossing our fingers because we picked out a pretty long dress with a long sash for your birthday party...it would have been quite silly to see you crawl around in it. Good thing you took your first steps when you did. And now I can see Katie do the same; I'm certainly very lucky. What a one-of-a-kind Anniversary present for her Mama and Dada...her first steps! You are blessed to have the love of such wonderful children.
